During our first Science Lab of the year we explored the WES gardens. Working together we created a number scroll to 1,000!
Books, Books, Books
2nd graders chose just right books this week to read during reading group time or when they are finished with their work. Seeing children happily engaged with a book is one of my favorite teacher moments. We dove into academics with assessments, computer programs and our math and reading programs. They were up for the challenge, jumping in with curiosity and persistence.
